Happy 100th Birthday! 100 Lat

Hello Everyone! Hope you all have a lovely weekend. We had a really good day today. First we have picked up our (my) new car and then we have been treated to a very nice lunch by Mr Darcy’s parents. I had a practice drive in a new car so really good day 🙂

Yesterday I have been asked for a special birthday card for my friends grandma’s 100th! Wishing her all the best I had a tough work as card was supposed to be in A4 size. Unfortunately I didn’t have that size so came up with an idea of using 12”x12” backing paper which I have joined using eyelets and pale pink ribbon.

Apart from that I have used dark burgundy wide ribbon, different backing paper for the main image and some other see through ribbon for a nice touch. I have painted picture with promarkers and ink markers and added some pearls and corners. As last I have added ‘100 Lat’ phrase which means ‘100 Years’ and some flowers. Hopefully it’s nice enough 😉

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges: – pearls/flowers/lilac – birthday/die cuts (heart)/ribbon – fusion- sketch – 3 flowers

Birthday Girl Card

Woo hoo it’s me again. I have been busy again tonight! My eyes are still sore (caught an infection) but new glasses seem to make a difference.

I went through few blogs and looked at challenges earlier on today. There are some really amazing crafters out there!!! Every time I look at someones blog, i want to sit down and makes something myself. That’s how I created my next card.

It is a proper girly card, I have used some fabulous designer paper with shiny flowers on it, black and pink baking paper, die cut centre piece where I have mantled digi stamp by Gillian Flint. I have painted image with brush markers and promarkers and finished it off with distress crackle paint by Tim Holtz. Also added some mulberry flowers, tag and birthday girl sentiment. Butterfly was black but painted it with sparkle t-shirt glue paint 😉 oh, I have almost forgotten about pink ribbon and liquid pearls. Hope you like it xxx

4th of July

Good evening my crafty bloggers. It has been a hectic week as always. Work has been very busy, kids are there usual and Mr Darcy wasn’t to well so I do feel a bit tired. Never tired to do crafts though 🙂 My new card has been made for my colleague. Her son will be forty on the 4th of July and she has asked me for a card in this theme. She has also mentioned that her son likes motorbikes and it would be nice to add it to the card. Two together weren’t easy to join but hopefully I didn’t do to bad. What do you think guys? Please leave a comment if you pass by and I will return the favor. Hugs to you all! xxx
